Dickens Can Make You A Fortune All the Charles Dickens books are in the public domain. This means that they don’t have any copyright and you can do with them as you please. The same with all the classic books such as William Shakespeare, Emily Bronte, H.G Wells and his War Of The Worlds book (recently made into a Hollywood blockbuster with Tom Cruise). Many of the greatest books ever written are in the public domain. Here’s the brief plan before I go into detail. You get a series of public domain books, for example all of Charles Dickens’ books, and turn them into actual printed books. You also turn them into audio and have fancy packaging made up for them. You then send the master copies to a company like http://www.speakerfulfillmentservices.com/ Speaker Fulfilment Services are a printing a shipping company. They will print up your “Charles Dickens Classic Collection” and send them to anyone who buys. Now you could sell this package yourself over and over again. Set up a simple web site and sell the package over and over again. This would make you a killing. This is your own bit of prime virtual real estate. Another option would be to “flip” the web site using my techniques in the Virtual Property Tycoon course. You could sell one hundred licences to this new product at five hundred dollars each. Alternatively you could list it as a ready made business on ebay.com and create a bidding war! Why would people pay you for this if they could do it themselves? This can be applied to any classic book author such as Shakespeare or Bronte (the books must be published before 1923 in America in order to be in the public domain) Go to http://www.gutenberg.org/ and type in “Charles Dickens” into the “Author” search box on the left hand side. Download his books such as Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Little Dorrit and all the well known classics he has written. Tip: Download the plain text version and copy and paste that version into a text editing software like word. Add your own images and jazz the books up a little. Hire someone to read the books out from www.voice123.com or use the software at www.nextup.com Send the books and audio to either http://www.speakerfulfillmentservices.com/ or www.disk.com Set up a web site selling the printed products one hundred dollars. Now either sell the product yourself, sell licences to the packages or “flip” the web site. How cool is that? You can be in business in the next few days and it won’t cost you a penny to get your hands on these books. Then just rinse and repeat with other authors. Then rinse and repeat with niche books.
