niche market. This blew people
away because, obviously with the
recession, this is one of the
most popular markets to be in.
And I’ve already had emails from
people who have made their first
sales since Monday of their new
business. Not surprising since
it was based around a book that
sold thirty million copies since
it was written! Anyway due to
the fact I received so many
emails of thanks from students
for a turnkey business I
realised this is the kind of
thing so many people need.
Businesses and ideas handed to
them on a plate. This week I
want to give you an idea that
will take a little investment, a
couple of hundred bucks, but
could make you a fortune in the
long term. As you will
know public domain describes a
body of works in which there is
no copyright so you can do with
it as you please. Well what
many people don’t know is that
there are special web sites that
sell public domain footage - as
in video footage. And this is a
huge opportunity for those in
the know.

and you own a licence to them.
You can then do with them as
you please (there are

terms and conditions and

If you

for such subjects as military
video footage, presidential
speeches, NASA videos, old films
such as westerns and more. So how could
you turn these into a business,
quickly?
Well it
takes a little thinking outside
of the box. But if you hit on a
good idea you could have a huge
business on your hands.
An example
might be the speeches by the
presidents of the Or you could
burn the speeches onto DVD and
sell them as a collector’s
item”. You could
sell them just as speeches by
the presidents, or you could
position them as a “how to”
speech product teaching people
how to present a great speech.
Who better to learn from than
the most powerful person in the
world right? There are a
selection of old classic films.
You could create your own
classic film box sets. This is
what the big film companies will
often do. (In fact Walt Disney's
empire is based largely on
content sourced from the public
domain). It just goes “under the
radar” because people don’t know
the secret I am letting you in
on now. There are a
selection of videos on NASA and
space. This is a huge market of
interest for people. You could
put the videos behind a locked
member’s area and create a video
membership site where you
“dripped in” new video content
each month and charged a monthly
fee of, say twenty bucks or so.
Imagine if you could get a
thousand people paying you that
every month? There are tens of
thousands of people searching
for space related information
every day! What about
creating some DVD’s on the
military and selling them on
eBay, or from your own web site?
This is another red hot topic. With

“steal” video productions that
probably cost tens of thousands
to make. You can spend a few
hundred bucks and be in business
in a few days. Think about
it this way. You could spend a
thousand or so dollars setting
up a really, really cool web

their investment. You can make
back your cash in days. With this

few hundred dollars and be in
business quickly. A cool
business as well. How great will
it be to tell people “I’m in the
