Firstly, I must apologise for this
week’s newsletter being a day
late. A very good old friend has
just arrived from
Anthony is actually an amazing guy
and possibly one of the most
creative free spirits that I’ve
ever met. He’s also heavily into
internet marketing and is
blazing a trail into the Spanish
speaking markets. If you
remember last week I was talking
about various untapped foreign
markets and the potentially huge
revenues that are there to be
harvested by people motivated
enough to introduce their info
products into those countries.
Well Anthony is doing just that
and, so far, with great success.
On to this week and how to
generate a virtual property
income with niche software
programs…
Niche software programs is an
area of online business where
there seems to be very little
information. However, it is
extremely lucrative and can make
you a shed load of money if you
do it properly.
What market is this? The
software market! So many people
concentrate on the more common
online business models but very
few ever mention just how much
money you can make from selling
software to a niche in need.
Now don’t panic you don’t need
to create the software yourself
(obviously) you just need to be
able to have an eye for a market
in need of a piece of software
to solve a problem. For example,
recently someone invented a
piece of software to be
installed on a child’s phone so
parents can track their location
once they have signed up to a
web site.
This isn’t out yet but will be
huge when it is released. This
simple idea will make the
creator a millionaire, and
whilst I’m not saying you enter
the software market in a massive
way like that, you can certainly
get started online for just a
few hundred dollars.
The great thing about software
is if it fills a need that
people are desperate for they
will buy without you needing
fancy sales letters and good
copy. It’s not so much of a hard
sell as say, an ebook, as people
will need it to achieve
something that they cannot at
the moment. The software to
business market is huge, and you
can enter it catering for
internet marketers such as
myself and readers of this
e-letter who have their own web
businesses.
So how do you get started?
How do you find an idea that
could potentially make you a
fortune? Well here’s the thing,
there’s no real hard and fast
rule to finding ideas, hence the
massive lack of information on
the subject. It really is down
to your ability to be able to
recognise a lack of service in
any market
In the internet marketing niche
(how to make money online)
there’s a huge amount of scope
for ideas. Mike Filsaimes
“Butterfly Marketing” software
sells for $1497 and made him
nearly a million in a week. All
Mike did was see an opportunity
for a piece of “One Time Offer”
software, hired a script writer
(software creator) from
www.rentacoder.com or
www.scriptlance.com and that was
it. He then hired a copywriter
to write his copy and bam he had
a million dollar business. All
from being able to keep his eyes
open.
I’m not in anyway saying you’re
going to make a million as a
software publisher, but it is
most definitely an opportunity
that so many ignore. If you have
an idea, do some research, and
then if it looks like a good
idea go for it. Software can
often be created for $50 yet you
can sell it on for as much as
people are willing to pay for
it!
If you want to find ideas for
internet marketing software
visit forums and newsgroups in
the internet marketing niche and
look at what problems people are
posting about. They’re a hidden
goldmine for the savvy internet
entrepreneur. Go to google.com
and type in “internet marketing
forum” and do a bit of
searching.
Here’s An Idea.
Let me introduce an idea that
leads on from the software model
above, and potentially a
business idea that someone who
takes it on and runs with could
find it extremely easy to get
started in.
As people will know I often
create my own web sites. Most
recently I used Microsoft
Expression web builder and for
more than two days was set back
trying to get my images loaded
onto my site. I then started
looking for information on how
to upload images in the new
version and found nothing of any
use.
The majority of what I found was
technobabble and
incomprehensible even myself who
has created plenty of web sites
from scratch. I would have paid
hundreds to find out how to
solve that problem because it
put my business plan back a few
days not to mention the
frustration it caused me!
Then suddenly I realised an
opportunity. There is literally
an endless supply of products
like ‘expression’ or ‘frontpage’
and all of the Microsoft range,
software online, video cameras
and things like that which
people have a problem using. All
of these have a massive scope
for creating information
products. I was desperate for a
course on how to use Microsoft
expression but couldn’t find any
for my version.
Ask yourself is there a piece of
technology you use at home or at
work that you could turn into an
info product? For example, if
you know how to create fantastic
looking video recordings using
Camtasia studio, that’s an info
product that you could easily
create in a few days. There is
such a huge amount of people out
there that need help in putting
things together, learning how to
use things, wanting to bypass
the learning process and just be
shown step-by-step how to do
things.

Type
in “how to tie a tie” (without
quotations). There are over 2000
searches a day for something
pretty simple. Just imagine how
many there would be for more
complicated software
programs and technology. Tons!
Again it’s all about finding a
problem people are having, and
solving it! Give it a go and let
