Power Product Profits Blueprint Part One

Hi Friend,

Last week I talked to you about the high ‘perceived’ value of information products and the potential for you to make insane profits by selling them online. This week and next week I’m going to give you a powerful blueprint showing you, step by step, exactly what to do, so that you too can jump aboard the express train to the palace of profits.

I’m also going to take you through this at break neck speed. There’s no need for you to worry about the detail at this stage. Just blast through what I’ve got to tell you and I challenge you not to be excited by the time you finish.

Step One. Identify Your Niche By Identifying Your Passions

First of all you need to think of something you’re interested in, a hobby, sport, passion, whatever. Interest is key as this will keep you motivated through the entire process. It could be anything – kitesurfing, pot making, gardening, magic, golf, literally anything you like.

If you’re struggling for ideas go to www.amazon.com, type in something like ‘baby’ and you’ll see that things like ‘pregnancy’, ‘first year’, ‘baby food’ etc come up. These are all examples of more specific niche markets. You can do this type of quick research for anything you might have an interest in.

You could also go to ‘yahoo answers’ and find more niche markets that way. Another place for ideas is ‘yahoo groups’ and forums – they’ll all have a stack of ideas and where you see the same subject coming up a few times you know there’s  a good chance they’ll be a strong market in that niche. Other web sites you can visit for ideas include www.goarticles.com and www.dummies.com . They both have a whole load more categories for you to explore.

Step Two. Market Guarantee

Next you need to verify that you’ll be able to sell your information product. To do this you need to check there is a market. Go to www.freekeywords.wordtracker.com . Type in the main keyword related to your chosen niche. For example, type in ‘gardening’. Ideally you want a number of at least one thousand coming up, meaning over one thousand people are searching under that word each day. That indicates there is a good market.

TIP: Ask yourself ‘are these people likely to be looking for information or to be buying a product in your niche’. If they’re only looking for information then forget it, you won’t make any money from them. Use your common sense here.

Step Three. Plant An Internet ‘Seed

Now you need to ask your target market what problem they need solving? You can do this simply by visiting forums. www.groups.google.com and www.groups.yahoo.com are superb places to start but there are also many more. Be discreet by signing up to the forum, building up rapport with a few chatty posts over a few days, then plant your internet seed. You could ask something like:

‘Hi Guys  & Gals, I’ve been thinking of getting in to kitesurfing for a while, can anyone recommend what equipment I should start with and where the best places are to kitesurf in the world please?’

TIP: Make sure you keep your target market worldwide (for example, don’t say ‘best places in the UK’, etc). You want people to buy your product from anywhere in the world.

Wait for the answers to come in over a few days.

Step Four. Creating Your Power Produc

You’ll find people are very helpful on forums, partly because everyone likes to talk about themselves (he said cynically!). You can then get additional content for your ebook product by typing in sensible searches in Google, such as, ‘kitesurfing locations’, etc. Copy and paste any useful information into a Word / Text document together with the information you got from the forums.

Once you have collected a decent amount you can re-write it (you don’t have to be Shakespeare but be careful not to break any copyright laws by plagiarising). Fifty to seventy pages should be plenty. Remember the objective of your ebook is to solve a problem for lots of people. Keep this in mind and your product will be more powerful than anything else out there. That means big sales and bigger profits.

Step Five. Create a Sales Letter

Creating a sales page is known as copywriting. This will become your home page from which you’ll sell your product. Again the basics are very easy:

- Identify the problem (e.g. There’s no information on the new sport of kitesurfing)

- Agitate the problem (e.g. ‘So many different types of kites, boards, etc…people keep good kitesurfing locations secret)

- Solve the problem (e.g. Revealed by kitesurfing wizard, the quick start guide to kitesurfing and the secret wind hotspots the ‘experts’ never wanted you to know about).

TIP: I agree writing you’re first sales copy can be a little tricky. But don’t worry that’s very normal, and just like turning away double glazing salesmen from your front door, it soon becomes very easy. If, however, you need a little help with your sales copy you can pick up some very cheap software that will craft it for you from www.pushbuttonsalesletters.com .

Step Six. Accelerated Start Up – Outsource And Project Manage

Yep, don’t worry if any of the steps above aren’t on your agenda (although it really is easy one you get going), you can outsource everything. Go to somewhere like www.elance.com , post an advert saying you want someone to write you a book on ‘kitesurfing’, etc. It’ll cost you probably five hundred to seven hundred dollars. Be sure to check the quality of writer’s previous work before you hire them – you are effectively a project manager here so you are in charge. Don’t go for the cheapest as they are probably rubbish! You can also hire someone to write your sales copy if you wish.

So, as you can see, there are just six simple steps to manufacturing your very own unique information product. If you follow my power info-product blueprint you can create your first product in a matter of hours. I know you didn’t expect it to be as simple as this but, believe me, it is.

This is, in fact, the exact same formula that I followed to get my online business up and running. Now it runs mainly on autopilot but because I enjoy what I do I’m always adding to it and developing new angles. First and foremost, this keeps me out of mischief, secondly it enables me to help as many people as I can, and, thirdly it gives me a monthly income of more than I used to earn in an entire year!

I want you to seriously think about this incredible opportunity and take action today (if you haven’t already) so you too can enjoy an income whilst you sleep.

Next week in part two of my Power Product Profits Blueprint I’ll show you the quick start route to market for your newly created products and how to market them for super-fast returns. I’ll also show you where to source ready made products for peanuts, how to ramp up your profits and how to dominate your niche by creating a super-power product. I’ve also got a special gift lined up to give you next week that will help you with all this so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on Wednesday.

Speak to you next week.
