DECODED – Julius Caesar’s
Priceless Symbol
Hi Friend,
In today’s newsletter I’m going
to reveal a simple technique
which you can use to make cash
on demand. I’m going to show you
exactly how I use this technique
to provide some of my biggest
pay days of all time. You’re
also going to learn how to
convert an ancient roman symbol
into its monetary equivalent in
just one day.
So let’s get started. You will
hear virtually every decent
marketer on the planet saying
“build your list”. Why? Because
this is the most guaranteed way
to make money on demand. And,
building a profitable list is
actually NOT that difficult at
all.
The key to building a responsive
list is to attract targeted
subscribers. And one of the best
ways to build your targeted list
quickly is to set up a squeeze
page.
What’s a squeeze page?
Well imagine squeezing an
orange. If you squeeze it really
hard you’ll get the most of what
you want out of it (i.e. juice)
right? It’s the same principle
when setting up a squeeze page
for your online business. At
your squeeze page your aim is to
‘squeeze’ the names and email
addresses out of visitors to
your page.
You do this by explaining to
your visitors, concisely, the
benefits they’ll get by signing
up to your offer (or the
disadvantages they’ll suffer if
they don’t sign up). You must
not try to sell them anything at
your squeeze page, you’re offer
should simply be an irresistible
freebie (newsletter, ebook,
audio, video, etc).
This is THE most powerful way to
build huge targeted email lists
for any niche market you.
Sounds tricky right? Wrong!
I’m going to let you in on the
five essential rules you must
follow in order to build a
kick-ass squeeze page.
Rule One. Punchy Headline
First, you need to think of a
punchy headline to grab the
attention of your visitor. Try
to get the words (or similar
words to) quick, free and easy
in there somewhere. This is the
combination that everyone wants
in relation to pretty much every
product or service on the planet
(yeah we’re a bunch of lazy
buggers!). A good tip when
writing
your headline is to think
of it as a short advert for the
content of your squeeze page.
Rule Two. Intriguing Sub-header
Just underneath your headline
you need a short sub-header
which creates some intrigue and
mystery around your offer. Make
your reader want to read on to
find out what it is you are
offering to give them for
absolutely nothing.
Rule Three. Body Bullet Benefits
In the body text of your squeeze
page you need to cut out all the
crap and tell your visitors
exactly what benefits (problems
solved, etc) they’ll get if they
sign up. Use a maximum of two
sentences and then list punchy
hard hitting bullet points, each
describing some benefit. You can
add in a couple of disadvantages
they’ll get if they don’t sign
up but I recommend you focus
mainly on the bullet benefits.
Rule Four. Call To Action
Your ‘call to action’ comes just
after your bullets and this is
where you spell out to your
readers exactly what they must
do in order to take advantage of
your generous offer. Say
something like “Simply enter
your details in the box below
and we will send you all your
fr.e,e goodies straight away”.
Rule Five. Opt In Box
Next, of course, comes your opt
in box (set this up at
www.aweber.com ) where you
collect readers names and email
addresses. You should try to get
your opt in box ‘above the
fold’, or, in other words, above
the bottom of the screen so
people can see it immediately
when they land on the page.
Simple hey? All you have to
create is one simple web page
and you can soon build your list
into the thousands or even tens
of thousands. Who’s going to be
able to resist your squeeze page
offer with clear concise
benefits, clear instructions and
an irresistible freebie? No one.
For an example of a squeeze page
have a look at:

Once you’ve got your squeeze
page up and running and your
list begins to grow you need to
start providing regular,
reliable, good quality content
to your subscribers. I recommend
you start doing this when your
list hits around five hundred or
so. Now don’t panic, providing
good content is very easy to do.
Start by telling your
subscribers a bit about
yourself, why you want to help
them out, etc. This way you
build trust. Then start sharing
other valuable information and
tips also for nothing. There are
millions and millions of web
sites and resources that you can
easily tap in to, to get your
content – no matter what niche
market you are in. Some obvious
examples would be to ask
questions in forums, search
article directories (such as
ezinearticles.com) or just do a
simple Google search on the
subject you are looking for.
Once you have collected a bunch
of material you can chop it up,
mix it up, re-write it, use
paragraphs from here and there
and you’ll soon have some great
content you can send out to your
subscribers. Deliver this to
them in an eletter (emailed
newsletter) by setting up an
account at aweber.com. Send it
out weekly on the same day each
week and do not charge for it.
You can even automate the
process in aweber so that each
person who signs up will begin
receiving each weekly newsletter
in the order you have set them
up in.
By doing this you’ll be doing
what most other marketers are
too lazy to do. And guess what?
This simple weekly bit of effort
will make you stand head and
shoulders above your
competition.
This simple process will build
you a list of people who know
you, trust you and visit the
pages you recommend on demand.
And this brings us to Julius
Caesar and his priceless symbol.
What am I on about? Well, the
symbol I’m talking about is the
letter ‘M’ which also happens to
be the roman numeral for the
number one thousand – derived
from the Latin word for one
thousand which is ‘mille’.
Why should the letter ‘M’
concern you? Because when you
implement my squeeze page and
newsletter system ‘M’ will start
appearing in your life like you
never could have imagined. And
I’m talking ‘M’ in the monetary
sense. In other words, when you
follow my system you will be
able to make ‘Ms’ (thousands) on
demand.
Once you have built up the
relationship with a good sized
list you know they will open
your email messages and then you
can promote your products to
them. All you have to do is send
those people an email
recommending they check out your
new product (or an affiliate
product you are promoting) that
should solve their problem or
just make them happier.
You’ll find this formula
produces huge sales conversions
because these people trust you.
You’ll literally be able to make
thousands on demand using this
technique. And you can do this
on autopilot! Because you have
to set the whole thing up
initially in aweber with
automatic follow up eletters.
All you then have to take care
of is getting traffic to your
squeeze page.
TOP TIP:
An easy way to increase traffic
to your squeeze page is by
posting your link in high
traffic blogs. Many people are
not aware of blog traffic and
how you can get it. But finding
these high traffic blogs is not
hard. Go to Google and type in
“your niche“ + blog (e.g.
‘Internet Marketing Blog’). Or
you can search blog directories
like
www.technorati.com or
www.blogcatalog.com .
Subscribe to relevant blogs in
your niche and enable the
‘comments’ feature if it’s
available. Include your name,
email address and, most
importantly, your squeeze page
URL. All you then need to do is
post sensible comments on those
blogs. The smarter you sound the
more attention you’ll get and
the more people will see and
click on your link. This way you
can ‘piggy-back’ off the high
traffic blog and get lots of
zero cost traffic for years.
IMPORTANT: Be sure that you only
promote quality products to your
list and don’t promote to them
too often. If not, you will lose
their trust very quickly and
they will become unresponsive.
This is where many marketers
fail. Don’t become one of them
especially after all your hard
work!
If you are working in some niche
and are not building a list,
make sure you start building
that list today. The sooner you
get those people on your list,
the sooner you will make
profits.
That’s it for this year. My next
newsletter will be in two weeks
time in 2010. Thank you for your
loyalty in reading my
newsletters each week, the
feedback I’ve received has been
tremendous. There will of course
be plenty more freebies for my
subscribers next year and I’ll
keep you posted on the latest
developments online so that you
can make money.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a
prosperous New Year!
