REVEALED Ed's Exact Cash Formula
For You To Copy Today
Hi Friend,
Last week I revealed a cool
technique that you can use to
start earn a lot of money online
starting immediately. It was, of
course, image advertising /
banner ads.
Remember to get going with this
you don’t need you own product,
you don’t need any marketing
skills and you don’t need your
own web site. This is something
the newbie can set up literally
in just a day or two.
Today, as promised, I’m going to
take you through the exact steps
that I personally use to set up
my very own profitable campaigns.
I’ll show you exactly how to set
up your banner campaign in
Google adwords so that you can
earn an automated income from
day one.
I’ll also give you the exact
settings that I use for my
campaigns, having spent a whole
load of money testing the
system. This means you can
maximise your profits and
minimise your costs.
So here’s what you need to do:
Step One
– refer to last weeks newsletter
so you understand the power of
this technique. You can do this
by clicking on the link below:
http://www.virtualpropertytycoon.com/vptsolution/44.htm
Step Two
Sign up to a free Google adwords
account. Do this by typing in
Google adwords into a Google
search and following the link.
It’s very simple. Once done,
sign into your account and click
on the ‘Campaigns’ tab. Then
half way down the page click on
‘new campaign’.
Enter your settings as follows:
Campaign name: [anything
suitable]
Location: [for the highest
quality traffic just enter the US to start with – you can always
expand into other countries
later]
Languages: [English]
Networks: [All available]
Devices: [click ‘let me choose’
and uncheck iphones because
people don’t yet pay much
attention to adverts on their
iphone – this may change in the
future]
Bidding Option: [Leave on
manual]
Budget: [I suggest you start low
at around say twenty five
dollars / pounds a day]
Then click on ‘save and
continue’
Now you come to the ‘Create Ad
Group’ page. Here’s what you
need to enter:
Ad group name: [fine to leave as
Ad Group #1 or change to a name
of your choice if you prefer]
Create an ad: [check ‘image ad’]
Now you will see a ‘keywords’
box appear.
All you have to do is copy the
keyword list that you have
already created using the Google
Keywords tool (see last week’s
newsletter –step two) and paste
all the words into the box.
Step Three
Next go down to the bottom of
the page and you will see ‘Ad
default bids’. In each box just
enter one cent or one penny
depending on where you are from
(make sure you get the decimal
point in the right place!)
Remember it is much cheaper to
bid on keywords for image
adverts on the content network
than it is for text adverts on
the search networks. Click on
‘save ad group’ at the bottom.
Step Four
Now you arrive at your Ad Group
page where you upload the
banners you had made earlier
(see last week’s newsletter –
step three). Simply click on
‘browse’ to locate and upload
your banners. Name it the size
it is, for example, 250x250.
In the display URL enter the
name of the web site people will
land on after clicking your
banner. In the destination you
need to enter your affiliate
link URL (or your web site URL
if you are promoting your own
web site). Repeat the process
for each of your five banners,
then click ‘save ad’ at the
bottom.
Step Five
Go up to the ‘billing’ tab and
put some funds into your
account. I strongly recommend
you only put what you can afford
in at a time. That way once you
run out of money your campaign
will stop and there is no danger
that Google will continue to
charge you.
All you need to do now is wait
for Google to approve your
banners. (refer to their T’s and
C’s for more detail – they will
soon tell you if your banners
are not suitable). Amend your
banners if necessary. This is
something you can continue to do
throughout your campaign –
sometimes just by changing one
word your banner may become ten
times more effective.
Step Six
Monitor your campaign. Increase
your bids if you are not getting
enough clicks. (If you are
promoting your own web site you
can track your conversion rate,
and, after generating thirty
successful actions, you can use
their conversion optimiser for
better more cost effective
results).
So long as the revenue from the
sales you generate is greater
that the cost of your
advertising you will be in
profit. Profit is virtually
impossible to achieve on the
Google search network nowadays
unless you’re a marketing
genius. However, using banners
on the content network is
usually at least ten times
cheaper so it means you can make
big money using this technique.
Plus you’ll be able to promote
higher value back end products
to your customer list further
down the line.
If you have your own product and
web site then use this technique
to drive traffic to a list
builder (for example, a squeeze
page with an opt in form) or
your sales page – then your
profits will be even greater. If
you don’t have your own product
(most people) you can easily use
this technique to drive people
to an affiliate offer you are
promoting. You won’t have to
worry about customer service or
anything, you just drive the
traffic and count the cash as it
comes in.
Whether you’re using this as an
affiliate tool or to promote
your own site, make sure you get
in there quick smart. Soon
everyone else will start
realising how impossibly
expensive Google Pay Per Click
has become and they’ll jump back
on to the banner advertising
band wagon! At this point in
time this technique is ready for
the taking for anyone from the
complete newbie apprentice to
the savvy internet marketer.
Have fun making money from
banner advertising,
Watch out for something special
next week,
Ed
